4a. Google Analytics / GA4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. GA4 collects information about your interactions with the Site — including pages visited, session duration, device and browser information, and approximate location — and transmits this data to Google's servers. Google may also use this data in accordance with its own privacy policies.
- GA4 uses cookies and may use device identifiers to track usage across sessions.
- We use GA4 data in aggregate to understand traffic patterns and improve our content.
- You can opt out of GA4 data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser settings to block Google Analytics cookies.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or email list, we collect your email address and, if provided, your stated area of interest (such as tournaments or leagues). We use this information solely to send you SoCal Flag updates, news digests, and announcements.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade email subscriber lists.
- We do not share subscriber email addresses with third-party marketers.
- You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at info@socalflag.com.
- After unsubscribing, we will retain your email address on a suppression list to prevent future accidental re-subscription, unless you request deletion.
6. Get Listed, Contact, Submission, and Directory Forms
Our Get Listed form, contact form, and similar submission forms allow users to submit information about teams, leagues, tournaments, fields, events, and other flag football-related content for potential listing or publication on the Site.
- We collect and store the information you submit through these forms, including contact details, organization details, and any supporting content.
- Submissions are reviewed by our editorial team before being published. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, or decline any submission at our discretion.
- Once reviewed and approved, submitted content (team names, league names, tournament details, event dates, locations, website links, images, logos, etc.) may be published on the Site and made publicly visible.
- Contact information submitted through these forms (such as a submitter's name and email) is used internally to communicate about the submission and is not published without your consent.
- You should not submit private, sensitive, or confidential information through these forms that you do not want reviewed, stored, or potentially published.
7. Admin, API, and Inbound Content Submissions
Authorized SoCal Flag administrators and editorial staff may access restricted areas of the Site to manage, review, publish, and curate content. API endpoints used for inbound content submissions are protected by authentication and intended solely for authorized use. Any information submitted through these channels is subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable terms.
8. Public Submissions and Published Listing and News Content
Information submitted to SoCal Flag for the purpose of listing, directory inclusion, or news publication is treated as intended for potential public display. Specifically:

- Users should not submit private, sensitive, or personally identifying information (such as home addresses, personal phone numbers, or financial information) that they do not want published.
9. Future Commerce, Affiliate Links, and Payment Providers
SoCal Flag may in the future offer merchandise, ticketing, event registrations, or other commerce features, and may include affiliate links to third-party retailers (such as Amazon or sporting goods stores) or sponsor content. If and when these features are introduced:
- Payment processing will be handled by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or similar services). We will not store your full credit card number or payment credentials on our servers.
- Affiliate links may generate a commission for SoCal Flag when you make a purchase. Purchases made through affiliate links are subject to the privacy policies of those third-party retailers.
