Format & What to Expect
Rules format: CIF girls 7v7
- Event format: CIF girls 7v7.
- Event structure: 12 high school girls flag football teams play in four three-team pools on Saturday, August 22, followed by championship and placement games on Saturday, August 29.
- Pool A: Banning, Franklin and Palos Verdes.
- Pool B: Inglewood, Marshall and San Pedro.
- Pool C: Bellflower, Carson and Garfield.
- Pool D: Arleta, Narbonne and Torrance.
- August 22 pool play: Banning vs. Palos Verdes at 9:00 AM; Banning vs. Franklin at 10:15 AM; Palos Verdes vs. Franklin at 11:30 AM.
- August 22 pool play: San Pedro vs. Inglewood at 11:30 AM; Marshall vs. Inglewood at 12:45 PM; Marshall vs. San Pedro at 2:00 PM.
- August 22 pool play: Carson vs. Garfield at 2:00 PM; Bellflower vs. Garfield at 3:15 PM; Bellflower vs. Carson at 4:30 PM.
- August 22 pool play: Arleta vs. Narbonne at 4:30 PM; Torrance vs. Arleta at 5:45 PM; Torrance vs. Narbonne at 7:00 PM.
- August 29 championship day: Semifinals are A1 vs. B1 at 2:00 PM and C1 vs. D1 at 3:15 PM; the championship is at 4:30 PM and the third-place game is at 4:30 PM.
- August 29 placement games: The posted schedule includes 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th-place games from 9:00 AM through 12:45 PM.
- Spectator admission: $10 adults and $5 students. Tickets are sold through the official GoFan event page.
