5v5 Sports has added three future Southern California stops to its SoCal Premier Circuit calendar, giving youth flag football teams a longer runway to plan for late-2026 and 2027 tournament weekends.
The circuit page also lists earlier 2026 stops that have already passed. For parents and coaches looking ahead, the future dates are the useful part: Golden Coast Challenge in November, Orange County Flag Open in December and VC Coastal Classic in May 2027.

What Parents and Coaches Should Know
The SoCal Premier Circuit is built around tournament-style weekends for competitive youth flag football teams. The official event pages describe group or pool play followed by single-elimination bracket play, which means teams should expect both guaranteed early games and a playoff path if they advance.
5v5 Sports lists the events as iFlag-sanctioned, with Zorts Sports handling team registration, player age verification, schedules, results and coach ID cards. That matters for team administrators because registration is not just a payment step. Families should be ready for age verification and any roster requirements inside Zorts before tournament week.
The division structure is broad enough to matter for both youth and high school families. Girls divisions are listed from 8U through 18U, while boys divisions are listed from 8U through 14U. Golden Coast Challenge and Orange County Flag Open list an Aug. 1, 2025 age cutoff, while VC Coastal Classic lists an Aug. 1, 2026 age cutoff.
What Is Still TBA
The biggest item to watch is exact field confirmation. The SoCal Premier Circuit page lists Golden Coast Challenge and Orange County Flag Open in Costa Mesa, and VC Coastal Classic in Camarillo, but the exact complex or field address is still not listed. Teams should confirm the final field location before making travel plans, booking hotels or building a weekend schedule around the tournament.
The official pages also say the events use a hybrid of USA Football and NFL FLAG rules. That is enough to understand the general format, but teams should still confirm the final rules packet, roster limits, age-verification steps, waiver requirements and any event-specific modifications in Zorts before registering.
Before Registering
The event pages say Stay-to-Play hotel rules apply to teams traveling more than 75 miles, so out-of-area teams should review the hotel policy before assuming they can book independently. Availability can also change before a posted deadline if divisions sell out.
SoCal Flag also has separate tournament listings for the three future stops so parents and coaches can review each event as details are confirmed.
